In 1977 the Atari 2600 game console entered the market and I am sure that a lot of of you remember this fondly. I am also sure that individuals who are old enough remember the pong game which came out before the Atari 2600. This was a top of the line gaming system when it first came out and almost everyone has fond memories of the games that they played with this breaking technology. Now men and women can re-live their past with the Atari Paddle Controller with 13 TV games, which is a thing that I actually bought.

If you were really into the Atari 2600 you already understand that this unit came with paddles so you could play certain games. Most folks remember the joysticks that came with the Atari, but the paddles were a thing that you had to purchase separately when the product first came out. Before long Atari began offering their home gaming system together with the paddles. Something you might also remember is that if you had the paddles you almost certainly liked the paddle games more that the games that you needed the joystick for.

Due to this Atari chose to release a plug and play paddle controller game that includes 13 of the more popular paddle games. You'll be hard pressed to find a TV these days that do not have RCA inputs, and just so you understand that is what you need to make use of this system. If you don't have a TV that has this type of input since the TV is very old then you'll not have the ability to use this system. But like I said, pretty much every TV that has been developed in the last 10 years have these jacks.

Night driver, Breakout, Canyon Bomber and Demon to Demand are merely a number of the games that you'll discover in this game system. The one thing that some men and women have complained about, including myself, is that this specific gaming system does not include Kaboom. Although this may be a huge oversight on Atari's part, the other games that they did include in this system are actually great games as well. If you were one of the folks who purchased the original 2600 you know that it cost about $200, but this product is no where near that price.

For individuals wondering how much this device costs, you can in fact order this device from Amazon for just $4.92. In fact if you were to pick this up from a retail store you would end up paying about twice the price for this game. For people who remember just how much you used to love playing the paddle games from the Atari, this is a great way to start playing them again. And mainly because this is so cheap you will also find that this is really a great gift for the person who's stuck in the 80's.
